Meet Paula Berlowitz

I’m Paula Berlowitz, a Cambridge CELTA-qualified teacher with over 25 years of English-teaching experience. I help learners use English with greater confidence through practical, supportive lessons.


My lessons are dynamic, enjoyable and purposeful. Drawing on Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), we learn through practical tasks, with real-life communication at the heart of every lesson. For children, I use play-based learning: stories, games and creative activities make English meaningful and fun.


Learning goals are informed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with activities adapted to each learner’s age, interests and needs.

Our Services

Private English lessons

One-to-one lessons online and in person in Wien, Österreich, shaped around your level, interests and goals. Build confidence for everyday conversations, work, study or travel.

In-Company English

Practical English for teams at your company’s premises or online. Group lessons can focus on meetings, presentations, customer communication and the language your team uses at work. Programmes are agreed with each organisation.

English for children

Playful, age-appropriate English through stories, games and meaningful activities. In-Kindergarten and In-School group lessons are arranged directly with institutions and delivered at their premises.
